Making a Difference Award (2021)–Deanna Kosaraju
Deanna Kosaraju is the Founder and CEO of Global Tech Women. Currently she also works in technology running eCommerce Projects for Ariat International, Inc. She also manages programs for the annual Women Transforming Technology Conference (WT2) the last 6 years. Prior to Global Tech Women, Deanna was the Vice President of Programs for the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology and was the first employee to run the Grace Hopper Celebration on annual basis, and she is the founder of the Grace Hopper Celebration in India. Deanna is currently pursuing a Masters in Information Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. She has a degree in Gender and Women’s Studies summa cum laude from U.C. Berkeley and Women Leaders of the World Program at Santa Clara University. Deanna was awarded the Women of Influence Award by the Silicon Valley Business Journal in 2010.
