In recognition of the fine work that is accomplished by our members and associates, SIGCAS honors two individuals each year with the following awards

Outstanding Service Award
This award is presented to a SIGCAS member for outstanding service to
SIGCAS in carrying out responsibilities that foster the viability of
SIGCAS and enable it to continue to make a contribution to the field of
computing in the context of its stated mission. |
Making a Difference Award
This award is presented to an individual who is widely recognized for
work related to the interaction of computers and society. The recipient
is a leader in promoting awareness of ethical and social issues in
computing. The recipients of this award and the award itself encourage
responsible action by computer professionals. |
